PEK film-electric cardboard is a composition consisting of electric cardboard glued with a polyethylene terephthalate film. Film-electric cardboard PEC is used for grooved insulation, insulation of the "cover-wedge" type in low-power electric machines in the insulation system of the class e heat resistance (120°C). PEK film-electric cardboard is suitable for mechanized isolation of stators. The service life is 20,000 hours.
